  • A RentQualifier Score is a unique score that is calculated by RentQualifier’s proprietary API—based on the responses provided on the application—and determines the probability of a potential tenant paying their rent on time, in full. This score is based on 1) current years of employment 2) housing rental or house payment history 3) credit score provided by TransUnion called Vantage Score.

  • Verified means an applicant is able to provide documentation such as a paycheck stub, W2, or tax return. For rental history 6 to 12 months of cancelled checks demonstrating on time payment.

  • The 3 credit bureau’s Trans Union, Experian, and Equifax provide free annual credit reports, as required by federal law. Please visit: www.annualcreditreport.com

  • No, RentQualifier is not a credit bureau.

  • Rentqualifier.com pulls what is called a hard inquiry. This is used by most lenders and rental companies. Hard credit inquiries remain on your credit report for 2 years, and no longer impact credit scores after 1 year.

  • Yes, RentQualifier’s portal is secured by an SSL certificate—a digital certificate that is encrypted when the information is sent via a server. After 60 days, all information is erased from rentqualifier.com.

  • All RentQualifier scores and reports are valid for 60 days. Note: credit bureaus update credit information daily, which can have an effect on your credit score. Some landlords may require an updated report.
